Levels One to Three of the Victorian Essential Learning Standards come under the broad umbrella of The Humanities. Each level contains a learning focus however for Levels One and Two, there are no learning standards. The learning focus is to act as a guide for educational activities at this level. Participating in activities such as recycling increases students awareness of environmental issues and how the issues impact upon their lives.
